Sewing again....at sea!

Here it is Saturday already and the TV is full of football games.  Mark, Tami, Josh and Aaron are hosting a football party tomorrow morning at 10:00am, to watch the Kansas City Chiefs.  Vicki and I will be at our usual place....Starbucks.  Vicki's team....the Broncos, does not play until 1:00.  So, everyone is busy, busy, busy, cheering their teams along!  The Chargers don't play until Monday night!

This morning we decided to go to 99th for Starbucks.  There was a bad accident on Bell Road and you cannot believe what we had to go through to get to Starbucks.  If anyone had seen us they would have thought that we were having coffee withdrawal....we even went into an area that said  "do not enter."  We were laughing our heads off by the time we got there and thank goodness we did not miss our morning bun...there they sat waiting for us!

After coffee we went to the quilt shop.  We bought some thread and then picked out fabric for 3 pillow cases.

She is doing a great job getting the fabrics in the right piles!  Everyone is so helpful here!

Beautiful fabrics for the pillow cases that I am making!  2 for Rosine and 1 for Tami!

Having fun at the lake with the water toys....but just after sending this picture, the jet ski blew up and burned my nephew Lee on the face and the arm.  I hope he is all right.  Judy's husband is a retired fireman!

This is my nephew Lee.....right before the jet ski blew up!  That must have been really scary!

Finally I made myself a blanket....it is all finished except for Vicki to stitch in a ditch!

Went to see Rosine and she is doing fine....that is as fine as she can...it is so hard to watch her struggle! It makes me want to scream watching what she is going through!

We had some sad news today....our friends in Atlanta are not feeling well so we are going to postpone our trip until a later date!  Feel better soon!

 At Sea
We are moving quickly through the Pacific on our way to Japan.  The Captain is doing a great job staying ahead of Typhoon Wipha.  Last night we bounced around a little due to higher seas and winds but today was much better.  As a matter of fact I had a glorious day of sunshine poolside.  It came just in time, I was suffering from withdrawals.  Tonight we had special guests at the table, Guest Chef George Geary and his friend Jonathan.  It was a fun night filled with lively conversation and laughter.  Tomorrow will be interesting, as the typhoon intensifies we may feel some more effects…  Just  as long as it’s sunny!
