And the winners are....the Amsterdam is in Luganville, Vanuatu

Today we had a really good day.....well, I had a good day and Vicki had a frustrating day....went to 99th for coffee and then to QT for peach tea and then home to quilt....wrapped packages and sent Debbie, Sara and Robin their quilts from last weeks drawings....remember girls....I need pictures of you and your quilts.

The winner of quilt #10 goes to Amy...who did not know her name was in the pot!

Quilt #11 goes to Tracey S.M. of Kansas City.....please send me your address!
Remember to take a picture of yourself and your quilt so I can post it on the blog!

Went to see Rosine this afternoon and she seems to be doing very well.  She will be moving into her handicapped room on Monday.  This will be really nice for her!

At 4:30 Betty picked us up and we went to meet Rita and Mary for Mexican Food....It was very good although mine could have been warmer...it was good to get together...it has been over a year since we have seen Betty...I don't know where time goes.....Rita and Mary are in the middle of a remodel and are finding it to be very frustrating!

It has been so long since we have seen Betty but at the same time it seems like it was yesterday....this is what happens when you get old!

Rita looks like a little Angel......okay, I said "LOOKS LIKE"   lol!

"Why would you think that Rita is an Angel....oh!  she looks like one!  Okay that sounds better!  lol!

Did you say that there are Angels here....you guys had too many margaritas!

Now here are 3 Angels of the best kind!

Mary, Betty , Vicki and the not so much of a Angel!  lol!

                                                          Mary and her new Quilt!

This is so cool and such a cute picture....you do such a great job on the photos!  And your quilt is cute too!

I think this baby has found a new place to sleep!

 Luganville, Vanuatu

We had a lovely sail into Luganville….  What a difference from my last visit when it was pouring rain, hot and sunny today.  I went ashore with Brad & John and we had decided to just walk around town and go to the markets…. We were going along having a fun time when a taxi driver asked us if we wanted to go to see a Blue Hole and beach so we said “Why not!”.  We hopped into the taxi and explore a bit of the island.  It is a very lush island with a lot of cattle ranching and coconut trees.  The Japanese are pretty big here along with a bit of activity by the Chinese.  We enjoyed our drive around and then headed to the markets.  The people here were very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with them.  After the market, we walked back to the ship with countless stops along the way for photos or chatting with the locals.  It turned out to be a pretty nice day…  as usual, my blog is in two parts…  this is part one.

BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!
